Career Destination does not collect any information about individual Users other
than what is provided directly by the User. We do gather aggregate information about
site usage, such as the number of visitors, most visited pages, and length of visit.
However, this information does not identify Users specifically by IP address or
e-mail address. Rather, it tells us how our Users as a group are using the site.
Thus, aggregate site usage data helps us expand and improve the Career Destination
web site in order to make your experience with Career Destination the best possible.
Career Destination uses cookies only when you sign up for our Remember Me (linked
to our appropriate page) feature. A cookie is a small text file that your web browser
places on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies allow us to recognize you when you
access the Career Destination web site. We use cookies to tailor the site to your
needs and make your visit more efficient. If you want a more personalized visit,
you should be sure to sign up for our Remember Me feature.
To optimize your job search and match your qualifications with our extensive database
of available positions, you will need to provide us with standard contact information—such
as phone number, mailing address and e-mail address--as well as some personal information
during the sign-up process. Career Destination uses the contact information you
provide to inform you of potential job matches. We share this information only with
Employers and only when we receive your permission to do so.
Confidential Information collected by Career
Destinations includes your current contact information and your current employer.
This information remains confidential until you authorize Career Destinations to
release this information to an Employer. Talent has two opportunities to authorize
the release of such information: when posting a resume to a specific job posting
or when an Employer requests more information about a specific Talent’s resume.
We do not sell, trade or rent any of your information, nor do we provide any of
your individual information to a third party, unless you expressly give permission
to do so. Thus, your content and personal information are only used to help you
in your job search.
Career Destination may occasionally use your contact information to send you information
regarding additional products we offer. You can opt-in or opt-out of these communications
at any time on your Employment Profile Maintenance Page (for Talent) or Profile\Job
File Maintenance Page (for Employers).
If you are not currently a member of Career Destination but you are on our mailing
list, you may become a Talent member by clicking here [link to Talent Profile Page],
or an Employer member by clicking here [link to Employer Profile Page]. You may
unsubscribe from further contacts at our unsubscribe [link to Unsubscribed Page
used in e-mail campaigns] page.
Occasionally Career Destination may conduct User surveys in which you are asked
to provide additional information so we may better understand your needs. Information
provided in these surveys will only be used internally by Career Destination in
order to improve the quality of service and experience we provide to our Users,
unless otherwise indicated at the time such additional information is requested.
Please rest assured that Career Destination has taken adequate precautions to protect
both the physical and electronic security of collected information and other data.
Career Destination takes all reasonable security measures to make sure your information
is safe from unauthorized use. When you transact business at Career Destination,
the connection used to provide us with the information is protected by SSL (Secure
Socket Layer). This technology will scramble the information you provide to Career
Destination, thus protecting it from those who would try to steal or intercept it
while it is being transferred.
After we receive your data, it is stored in databases on our servers, which are
protected by a firewall and other intrusion-detection software. In addition, we
use NV5 Hash encryption software to encrypt your most crucial information, such
as your User ID and password. We only request and store Employer credit card numbers;
we do not request or store Talent credit card numbers. We store Employer credit
card numbers in our databases so Employers can use the site conveniently, but they
are always stored in encrypted format. If more than a year has passed since your
stored Employer credit card was used for a transaction at Career Destination, it
is automatically deleted from our system. Our databases are stored on servers in
an environment protected by multiple, redundant security features.
Career Destination credit card transactions are handled by name of company, need
to provide brief description of encryption used when we communicate with that service.
Finally, we restrict access to your personal identification and contact information
within the company to only those authorized employees who need to use that information
for a specific job function.
Though Career Destination takes the multiple electronic and physical security precautions
described herein, we cannot be responsible if some third-party gains access to the
database or your personal or credit card information by evading our security measures.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not
previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If such a change in use would occur,
Career Destination will post any changes to the privacy policy, allowing you to
know the kind of information collected by Career Destination and how that information
